Our Adult classes are designed to introduce swimmers to the pool, improve basic skills, and strengthen technique & endurance.
Adult 1 classes are for those who are new to swimming. Participants will learn: Entering & Exiting the Pool Safely, Self-submerging, Breath Control, Belly Float, Back Float, and Kicking.
Adult 2 classes are for those who have mastered Adults 1 skills. Participants will learn: Basic Freestyle Stroke, Kicking & Finning on Back, Rolling from Back to Belly & Belly to Back.
Adult Stroke Classes introduce the components for each stroke: Freestyle, Backstroke, Breast Stroke, and Survival Strokes. Participants must be comfortable in the deeper end of the pool and jumping from the diving board or pool side.
25 minute group classes are limited to 4 participants. Tuition is based on the # of days in the sequence.
